The North Carolina Citizens for Quality Government is a public information and participation organization, designed and developed for young people, whose primary function is "Accountability Assurance" (AA). We are the AA vanguard; We guard against the excesses/extremes of so called "rugged individualism" and unending "materialism". - "The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first, and only object of good government." - Thomas Jefferson

We believe we need to restore confidence in our government and establish a Quality Management System(QMS) which conforms to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000(E).  

We believe we need to transform our Public Education System (see section 4, "SCA").  All things (systems/planets/individuals) are governed by Universal Law;  Universal Law includes both the Physical Laws, eg. gravity, and the Spiritual Laws of life (Truth).  Success or failure in life depends on knowledge and use of Spiritual Laws.  (see The Game of Life and How to Play It, Florence Shinn, 1925)  Life is not a matter of chance over which we have no control.  Life is controlled by spiritual laws (truth). In our introduction of NCCQG to the Asheville City council on 12/15/2004 (12:30 am), we stated that Dr. John Hagelin in his 2000 Presidential campaign said: “We need to create educational systems that develop the full potential of human consciousness of every student.”  He is absolutely correct; We should leave no child behind).  Life is consciousness!  The contents of our consciousness are the creative substance of our lives. The invisible world of Thought, creates the visible world of things!  Life is what we think!  (Suffering is not necessary; it is always the result of "wrong" thought.)  You are what you think you are!  You are spirit; you and the Creator are ONE! (Ephesians 4:6) ("Be still, and know that I AM...") Because of the law of thought, life is consciousness.  Because of the law of attraction, you are, you have and you do, in accordance with your consciousness.  And because of the law of Cause and Effect, every physical effect has a mental cause.  (As you give, so shall you receive); As you do to others, so others will do to you!  All healing is Spiritual (see "How to Heal Yourself, A-Z, Louise Hay). Everything is a condition of the mind; Our mind is the connecting link with the Divine Mind (Spirit); everything begins in the mind with thought. (see As A Man Thinketh, James  Allen, 1904)  Thought is “The incalculable, creative energy force of the universe.” Every thought creates!  And, as we think, so are we, and so shall we become. "All that we are is a result of what we have thought". - Buddha, 483 B.C.  We know the Truth.  We do not judge by appearances. We the People of North Carolina, from whom the State government derives it's powers, have realized our government responds too much to various separate and special interests and too little to our collective interests; we have realized also, that we MUST exercise our right to "change" our form of government - that is neither effective nor efficient in ensuring Life, Liberty the pursuit of Happiness and Justice for ALL and institute "Government Quality Assurance" (GQA).

As a result of this recognition of our vital role in the governmental process, we have formed the North Carolina Citizens for Quality Government (NCCQG). The foundation of NCCQG lays on the principles of Truth (Spiritual Law) and its powers are organized in the form of Quality Management ("direct democracy") as defined in International Standards Organization (ISO) 9000 Series.  NCCQG will apply Quality Management (QM) to the North Carolina government.  NCCQG will establish Standards of Performance  (SoPS) for the Government as a whole and Measures of Performance (MoPS) for each elected official.  The NCCQG will issue a "Performance Report Card" each Quarter. 

Spiritual principles are the foundation of Active, Positive citizenship!  (Ephesians 4:6 / John 4:24 / 1st John 4:16) If the root cause of all our so called political, economic and social problems is “spiritual ignorance”, then the solution MUST be “spiritual education”.  (Knowledge, understanding, wisdom)  Spirit is ONE; ONE is All; All are ONE!  Success or failure in life depends on Knowledge and USE of Spiritual Law (Truth / John 8:32)

OUR GOAL

To ENSURE We Have Public Officials with a Universal Vision; Whose Every Thought is for the Common Good; Who Recognize the Truth: We Are ONE!  (Interconnected)

Public Officials who will uphold the North Carolina Constitution and preserve/protect our Individual rights.  The constitution of NC provides the requirements for quality government.  No constitution can be self enforcing.  Government officials MUST respect their oaths to uphold the Constitution; and WE the people MUST let go of FEAR, apathy, complacency, cynicism, racism, sexism, me-ism, "religion-ism" (not to be confused with spiritualism...) and materialism and make sure they do as well. (Some people forget that a commitment to Christ (Colossians 1:27)  is a commission to love! - Matthew 22: 36-40)

Our goal is neither power, glory, fortune nor fame.  Our goal is To ENSURE justice and promote the General Welfare and Peace for ALL! (Truth + Love = Peace!)
