The Buncombe Chapter of NCCQG is a unique
group of citizens who may be either black, white, red, yellow or brown;
who may be either Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jew or simply one
of His children; and who may be either Democrat, Republican,
Libertarian or simply Independent. We know the Truth, we know
ourselves; We are ONE! And we are Peacemakers!
WE REALIZE THAT -
-
The two-party system works for the powerful/wealthy few; ie, Corporate America; the present system breeds apathy, complacency and cynicism. if we don't change the direction we are headed, we will end up where we are going.
-
our government responds too much to various separate and special interests and too little to our collective interests.
-
we MUST ensure that our government of the people is truly BY the People and FOR the People. quality is conformance to Requirements: The Quality Life is conformance to Truth (spiritual law).
-
the "price" for quality government is eternal vigilance. Self-Responsibility + Self-Realization = Self-Reliance - quality government requires quality leaders (public officials)!
- many
people see things as thy appear and say, "why?" Some dream things that
might be and say "Why not?"A Community of Love, Peace and Harmony.
WE RECOGNIZE -
- WE need change -"real change"- in Buncombe County, North Carolina and America.
- Whether
it's a City, County, State or Nation, you can't have "real democracy
or quality government without inspired, informed and involved citizen
oversight.
- You can't assure the achievement of quality without an effective Quality Management System (QMS).
- We must have Accountability Assurance (AA) to make sure we have quality education and quality government.
- The law of "Cause and Effect" (As you give, so shall you receive).
Our responsibility for ourselves.
-
Life is governed by spiritual law (Truth).
-
Our unique role in the "game of life" and in the governmental process. - "The Game of Life and How to Play It" - Florence S. Shinn, 1925
-
The "quality" life is a "simple" life. We need change - "real change" - in Buncome County, North Carolina and America.
